The Census Digital Library is intended to serve as a central, searchable repository of all publicly-available materials related to the India population censuses. This repository includes our census tables, documents of multiple types (acts and rules, circulars, questionnaires and methodological documents, reports), presentations of results, photos, and others. To make the information more discoverable, we seek to attach as much metadata as possible to each resource. The repository is not exhaustive, and will regularly be enriched with additional materials. Our priority is to make tables and documents related to the most recent censuses available.
