ADMINISTRATION DIVISION




The Administration Division is concerned with the establishment and administrative matters of the office including budget and accounts, vigilance, Assured and Modified Career Progression Scheme (ACP/MACP), compassionate appointment, recruitment, framing of Recruitment Rules, etc.


    The brief functions of the Administration Division are given below:
    Admin-I :
  • Construction & Land purchase matters of ORGI & DCOs.
  • Minor work of ORGI & DCOs (through CPWD & other agencies).
  • New hiring/ Continued hiring of office-storage space/ building for ORGI & DCOs.
  • Cleaning staff services.
  • Procurement of IT items.
  • Home Guard services.
  • Medical bill re-imbursement.
  • GPF withdrawal/ Final GPF payment.
  • Children Education Allowance.
  • House Building Advance.
  • Computer Advance.
  • Bills of AMC (Printer & Plotters) of Map division.
  • RTI Act matters/ RTI Portal.
  • Public Grievances/ CPGRAM Portal.
    Admin-II :
  • Direct Recruitments, Promotions and Issuing of final Seniority List in respect of Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted posts.
  • Direct Recruitments and posting of candidates after receiving of Dossier through SSC in respect of Group ‘C’ posts.
  • All the establishment/Service matters in respect of Group ‘B’ officials in ORGI (Hqrs)
  • All the establishment/ Service matters in respect of Group ‘C’ officials in ORGI (Hqrs).
  • Appointment of Staff Car Driver Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted post on deputation/absorption basis in ORGI (Hqrs.).
  • All the establishment/ Service matters in respect of MHA Cadres.
  • All the establishment/ Service matters in respect of Department of Official Language Cadres
  • Hiring of contractual staffs viz, Junior & Senior Consultants, DEOs, MTSs, Stenographers and retired officials.
    Admin-III :
  • All work related to appointment of DCO/DCR in the Directorate and Delegation of financial powers.
  • Service matter of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) officers.
  • Direct Recruitment and Appointment through Promotion & Deputation of all Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) officers.
  • Monitoring of all issues related to e-HRMS in r/o all Group ‘A’ officers of ORGI.
  • Preparation of different type of Reports/(Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly) and details required by MHA/Parliament.
    Admin-IV :
  • Court cases of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) employees of DCOs.
    Admin-V :
  • Cadre Restructuring.
  • Recruitment Rules.
  • Posting and Transfer (Non Gazetted).
  • ACP/MACP (Non Gazetted).
  • Creation & bifurcation of New Directorate of Census Operation.
  • Compassionate Appointment.
  • Permission for DPC/ Review DPC.
  • Maintenance of Incumbency.
  • Periodic Reports.
  • Other Administrative matters of Directorate of Census Operation.
  • Court Cases.
