Coordination & PARLIAMENT DIVISION




This Division handles all types of coordination work within the office of RGI, where more than one Divisions are involved and for which no specific unit or Cell exists in the office. Contributing material for the Annual Report of the Ministry of Home Affairs on functioning and current activities of ORGI, furnishing various reports/information to different Ministries/Departments from time to time, preparing agenda papers / folders for use of RGI or his representative for different meetings convened in MHA, organising weekly meetings in ORGI and the DCO meetings of miscellaneous nature, monitoring activities of DCOs, preparing PPTs / Induction Notes for new Ministers/ HS and handling all kinds of Parliamentary related business, including Parliamentary questions and supply of inputs to other ministries during the Parliamentary Sessions, drafting replies to issues raised by Hon’ble MPs under Rule 377 in Lok Sabha, as Special Mention in Rajya Sabha & during Zero Hours in the two houses, dealing with Parliament Assurances and issuing of Parliament entry passes for RGI & the other officers whenever required are some of the activities undertaken by this Division.
